Can I withdraw my money?
No, not during the 12 month term, if you need access to some of your savings you should also open another savings account that gives you instant access such as e-Savings or Easy Saver. See our Savings pages for more information.

What happens if I need to withdraw money during the term?
You will always have access to your money and you will always earn interest, but this will be at our Easy Saver rate for the whole term of the account.

Do I have to be a Barclays customer?
Yes and becoming one is easy. You just need to open a Barclays current account.

How do I open a current account?

Can my salary mandate count towards my £1,000 monthly credit?
Yes. In fact, you must have your salary or pension paid directly into your Barclays current account to qualify.

How do I open a Regular Saver?

What if I don't meet the conditions of the account?
You'll still earn interest, at the rate of our Easy Saver account for the whole term of the account.

What's the interest rate after the first year?
The account closes at the end of the first year and the balance will switch automatically to an Easy Saver account at Easy Saver interest rates.

What does AER mean?
It's the Annual Equivalent Rate. It illustrates what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and compounded each year.
